Engage2innovate – Enhancing security solution design, adoption and impact through effective engagement and social innovation – will investigate and address barriers to implementing EU security research and innovation outputs.

Description

The Engage2innovate (E2i) project aims to enhance security solution design and adoption by addressing barriers such as limited engagement and poor problem framing. Using a human-centred approach, E2i will develop the E2i Security R&I Toolbox to foster social innovation, providing tools and standards to optimise security solutions and inspire inclusive practices. The project’s main activities include researching barriers to security innovation, mapping social innovation in key focus areas, and co-developing the E2i Security R&I Toolbox. The project also hosts symposia, design labs, and design challenges. The expected results include a toolbox with tools, benchmarks, and standards to strengthen the adoption of socially innovative security solutions.
